Nuts about Procrastivity

Why build a website when you can build a squirrel?

If you were hoping to find a sleek "Shop" page here today, I have a confession: I’ve been hit by a case of Procrastivity. That’s the art of being incredibly productive at the wrong thing to avoid the scary thing.

In my old life as a Compliance Manager, my day was ruled by spreadsheets and targets. But this morning, when I sat down to tackle "Website SEO," I looked at my lump of clay and realized it had a much higher priority: it needed to become a squirrel.

Four hours later, the website is still a mess, but I have a perfectly sculpted, very judgmental-looking rodent.

In a pharmaceutical audit, this would be a "major non-conformance." But in my new life, it’s a win for my sanity. I’m still a little terrified of the "Publish" button, so I’m hiding behind my kiln for just one more day.

Project Status:

  • Website: 0% Progress.

  • Squirrel: 100% Adorable.

Let’s call it a successful mental health audit. Back to the tech tomorrow (maybe)!
